Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Genesis 5:24
There are many references to God walking with man, and man walking with God mentioned in the Bible. My favorite verse of scripture on the subject is Genesis 5:24.
As I reflect on my life and ministry, I am reminded in this verse of God’s ever-present willingness to walk with us through each season of life. Hebrews 13:5 promises us that God will never leave us not forsake us.
I feel His presence now.
I feel God walking beside me, and more importantly I know He is there because the scriptures state it so emphatically.
Our confidence in God’s presence in our lives isn't merely based on feelings or perception, but anchored in what the Bible reveals about God’s intentionality. As we learn to walk with God, we also learn how to walk alongside one another through the peaks and valleys of life.
I don't always understand where God is leading me until I get there, but I have enough faith and experience to follow Him no matter what others may think or say!
In conclusion, I wanted to share this quote...
My deepest awareness of myself is that I am deeply loved by Jesus Christ and I have done nothing to earn it or deserve it.
Our lives are constantly in motion, and the most important truth I can pass on to you right now is to be aware of how deeply loved you are by Jesus.
I love you too.
In God’s Love,
Pastor Jeremy E.
