A New Season..
11 “For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!”
Song of Solomon 2:11-13 NKJV
Life and love unfolds in seasons.
As life for my family has changed radically in the last season, I am greatly encouraged by the new season of life I am walking in to. Walking hand-in-hand with Jesus, I see a bright and radiant future for myself and the girls. Grieving may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. My heart is filled with joy and eager anticipation!
A new season is upon me, and I am greatful to God for his goodness and grace. Many great changes, transitions, and opportunities await me and I will be exploring these opportunities with new friends and family in the days ahead.
I am reminded of this verse of scripture which has become my life verse.
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13
I am seeing the goodness of God in the land of the living. I am answering the call in the last verse of Song of Solomon 2:13 to rise up and come away with God as I explore all that He has in mind for a new life in Him! A life of joyful adventure and exploration.
As I reflect on the last season of life, I will celebrate the past without living there, and will look forward, embracing all that God has planned for me and already put into motion!
Much love to you my beloved friends!
